POLICY ON CONFLICT OF INTEREST:

Any conflict of interest should be disclosed by all authors, according to a sample description given by ICMJE, “Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals” www.icmje.org/update.html.

The rights of ownership to the information of the educational or diagnostic units where the research was conducted, which might appear to have an impact on the publication or fail to give proper recognition to the research location, may also be included.

These could include the funding or honoraria, credits and promotional offers, subscriptions or any other personal or professional relationships. Such conflicting interests would not be unethical, but they might be seen as dubious study methods. Conflict should be disclosed by authors.
